Win one of two grand prizes for CVCDA’s annual fundraising raffle

Winners will take home one of two fantastic prizes this year in the annual Comox Valley Child Development Association’s (CVCDA) 2019 Children’s Telethon Raffle fundraiser

Telethon time is upon us again. On Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 will be hosting our 44th Annual CVCDA Children’s Telethon at the Sid Williams Theatre from 12 noon to 8 p.m. All proceeds support local children and their families.

One of the highlights each year at the Telethon is the draw for the winners of the Deluxe Raffle Basket. And the basket is once again filled to the brim and will be not disappoint the lucky winner.

This year’s basket contains so many really great goods and services generously donated by local businesses from throughout the Comox Valley. The complete basket is valued at $2,900 and includes gift certificates for local dining, spa and salon treatments and great shopping throughout the Valley. The lucky winner will also walk away with items including a handmade quilt, local honey, coffee mugs, aromatherapy oils and an antique crate. Of course, the basket itself is part of the prize donated by Design Therapy and is all beautifully arranged and wrapped by Deb Etherington and the team over at 5th Street Florist.

Additionally, and NEW this year, our raffle ticket will give you another chance to win. On top of drawing a winner for the Deluxe Gift Basket, our first draw of the evening will be for a return flight for two anywhere WestJet flies. One ticket, two great prizes.

For the price of $5 a ticket you will be entered to win one of two equally impressive prizes. CVCDA’s 2019 Raffle tickets are currently available for sale and can continually be purchased right up to Telethon at a number of locations including business hours at our main CVCDA reception at 237 – 3rd Street in Courtenay. Two random draws will take place starting at 7:30pm, first draw will be for the WestJet flights and the second draw will be for the Deluxe Gift Basket.

CVCDA’s raffle tickets will also be available at the Sid Williams Theatre during the live broadcast of the Telethon, leading up to the draw time at 7:30pm on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019. Admittance to the Telethon is FREE to drop in, buy some raffle tickets, put a bid in on one, two, or five of the silent auction items, and enjoy some of the live entertainment.
