We are very pleased to announce that plans are under way for our 45th Annual CVCDA Children’s Telethon. The event is set to take place on Sunday, November, 1, 2020 from 12pm – 8pm at the Sid Williams Theatre in downtown Courtenay.

In light of this past year’s events resulting in many new safety protocols, our Telethon will look a little different than it has for the last 44 years. We will be taking the event online more than ever and throwing in a few other surprises. Now, more than ever, we need your support and we are very excited for the challenge of going virtual to celebrate the contributions of our amazing community. And don’t worry, you can still expect a full roster of top notch entertainers and performances wrapped up into a day of fun for the whole family.

If you would like to make a contribution leading up to the event, you can do so online through our CanadaHelps page.

For organizations or community groups planning fundraising initiatives leading up to the Telethon, we’d love to hear from you. Tell us about your plans and see how we can help spread the word. Additionally, we are currently welcoming any donations of silent auction items to be auctioned off online leading up to and during the Telethon. Contact Cindy Xavier for all details.
