Our first ever! Online CVCDA 50/50 Raffle tickets are on sale now

Oct 19, 2020 | Events, Fundraising, Telethon

Our first ever! Online CVCDA 50/50 Raffle in support of the 45th CVCDA Virtual Children’s Telethon… for two weeks only! More then ever, we need your support AND the more tickets sold, the bigger the pot.

Thrifty Foods Gift Basket PrizeAdditionally, when you spend $10 or more on CVCDA 50/50 tickets, you will automatically be entered into a prize draw for a Thrifty Foods Gift Basket valued at $100.

Every time you play, you’re supporting children, youth and adults with diverse abilities and their families in the Comox Valley. Thank you for playing! All funds raised leading up to and at the Telethon will go toward the annual fundraising totals on November 1, 2020. How it Works

Starting Wednesday, October 17, 2020 at 12pm, visit our online 50/50 ticket site through CanadaHelps. Select the number of tickets you would like to purchase at $2 each and complete your purchase using your preferred method of payment through the CanadaHelps secure payment system.

Because our event is going virtual this year, there will be no in-person opportunity to purchase 50/50 tickets. Ticket sales will close on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 7:30pm.

Draw takes place on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 7:45pm.

What are the prizes and odds?

Chances are 1 in 8,000 (total tickets for sale) to win the 50/50 prize.

The prize will be half of the total amount of money made from all CVCDA 50/50 Raffle ticket sales.

The jackpot and odds of winning are different with every 50/50 draw, so the prize amount depends on how many people are playing and the size of the prize pool. The more tickets you buy for a draw, the more chances you have to win! We only will draw from the ticket numbers sold out of a total of 8,000 available tickets.

Where do I find my 50/50 Raffle numbers?
