As a casual housekeeper at the Comox Valley Child Development Association, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment that supports our mission of helping children and families thrive.  Working with our team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere that fosters growth and learning. Qualifications

The successful applicant will have experience in commercial housekeeping techniques; and the ability to ensure a good standard of cleanliness to clean floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and garbages in our main buildings. Also required are the ability to organize time and work, and work without supervision. The physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, including heavy lifting, will also be required.

Position

  • Status:Casual vacation and sick coverage (with possibility of a few
    regular hours/week). Hours are in the evening, early morning or weekend outside of opening hours.

Wage

  • Range: $22.51-$24.08 @ April 1/24
  • Classification: Community Health Sciences Association (HSA) Grid 1 (Commensurate with Education and Experience)

About the CVCDA

Established in 1974, the Comox Valley Child Development Association (CVCDA) is honoured to reside on the unceded traditional territories of the Pentlatch, E'iksan and K'ómoks First Nations.

The CVCDA is a dynamic, multi-service not-for-profit agency dedicated to supporting children and families with a wide range of programs for children, youth and young adults with developmental delays and disabilities. Our services have spanned across 50 years in the Comox Valley and we have grown to become one the largest CDA’s on Vancouver Island.

About the Comox Valley
