Hey, it’s Bob here and I’m joined by Cindy from the Child Development Association, an amazing organization in the Comox Valley. And Cindy, what’s coming up on November 2nd? Oh Bob, it’s so exciting for us. We are hosting our 50th annual Children’s Telethon.
So 50 years in this community as an agency and 50 years running this annual fundraiser which has received so much great community support. So we’re super excited. November 2nd is the date and we’re going to be all meeting again at the Sid Williams Theatre which has been our location for a number of years now.
12 p.m to 8 p.m and lots of exciting stuff happening around it. Fantastic and for those that can’t make it down to Sid Williams, you can watch it online at the CVCDA website, cvcda.ca. We’ll have it on there, we’ll have a link in the post as well. And what are some of the things people will be able to do if they come down to Sid Williams though? Oh gosh, well they can watch all the great talent.
So we have a live show which is also live streamed through our partner Rogers TV and we have 50-50 raffle, we have an online auction so please check out our website because all of those things are currently live and going. We have great stuff happening for the kids, there’s face painting, all kinds of activities and just fun. That’s what the day is about, is just coming together as a community with our families, celebrating our donors, celebrating what our community has to offer.
Fantastic, all right, well make sure you come down November 2nd at Sid Williams Theatre. It’s going to be a fantastic day. If you can’t make it, go to the website, watch the live stream.
You can donate online, you can phone in and you can come down and watch some of the amazing live performances all day long from 12 to 8 p.m and thanks so much Cindy. Thanks Bob.
