The successful applicant will work under the direct supervision of the Autism Program Lead. The position will implement service plans prepared by the Behaviour Consultant for individual and small group intervention. This position will also assist in the planning of daily activities to achieve the program objectives identified in the Behaviour Plan.

Responsibilites
- Willingness to participate in agency community engagement activities such as the annual Telethon fundraiser and community engagement
- Vehicle that meets ICBC annual inspection standards, that can transport young children (booster and car seats provided), and valid BC Driver’s License
- A criminal record check will be required
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
This position requires Grade XII, plus documented recent training in Autism. Preference will be given to
candidates who have been trained in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) and have a minimum of two years of experience in working with children who require extra support in a family-centred service delivery model. The physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, Child Safe First Aid and a current Driver’s Abstract are also requirements.
