For youth ages 13–19 with diverse abilities.

The Community Integration Program (CIP) is a strength-based, family-centered initiative designed to support youth with diverse abilities in building meaningful connections, developing life skills, and celebrating their unique strengths.

CIP creates inclusive and supportive spaces where youth can explore their interests, build confidence, and form friendships. Social connection is at the heart of the program, with activities designed to foster a sense of belonging and community engagement.

We recognize families as essential partners and experts in their child’s life. Our approach is flexible and responsive, guided by the goals and priorities of both the youth and their families.

Activities may include life skills, cooking, job preparation, health and wellness, creative arts, community safety, and outdoor education. Each activity is thoughtfully designed to promote social interaction, personal growth, and community involvement.

Build meaningful connections with youth and families, promote inclusion, and strengthen community awareness and support for diverse abilities.

Who Can Refer?

Those interested in participating in our Community Integration Program must be referred by their Children and Youth with Support Needs (CYSN) Worker through the Ministry.
